What does the Accredited Mortgage Professional designation mean? Firstly, members have to have been working as a Mortgage Agent for a minimum of 2 years. That is the minimum tenure required before one can apply for this designation. Also, you know that they are commited to ongoing professional education since there is a minimum of 12 educational credit hour requirements anually in order to keep the AMP designation.
